Session 1: Lessons Learned from Network Formation
Andy Principe of Starling Advisors will present on a 10-year look back at lessons learned from safety-net provider networks. Participants will review a brief history of Network activity, takeaways, and priorities for future work.
Session 2: Effective Strategies for Negotiation
In the second session, Adam Falcone of Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, will focus on negotiations with payers. He will explain how to identify and use leverage points, offer guidance on how to review value-based contracts, and describe tried and tested negotiating tips.
Session 3: Legal Considerations for Value-Based Contracts
In the third session, Adam Falcone will present on legal considerations for network formation and value-based payment contracting. He will address legal concerns for participating in value-based arrangements, explain antitrust considerations for networks seeking to negotiate payer contracts, and define key value-based contracting terms.
