Washington Council for Behavioral Health & Washington Association of Community & Migrant Health Centers (WACMHC)
The Washington Council for Behavioral Health (the Council) and its counterpart PCA the Washington Association of Community & Migrant Health Centers (WACMHC) serve 40 licensed community behavioral health agencies and 27 health centers respectively, serving hundreds of thousands of patients throughout the state.
The Washington team is proud of the complete reset of working relationships between the associations that they will continue to benefit from and utilize to foster cooperative provider relationships. Because of their Delta Center work, the Washington team was able to collaborate regarding key bills & budget issues during 2018 to 2020 legislative sessions including the use/overuse of telehealth, MH-SUD specialist credential & improving behavioral health payment in both settings.
