This case study examines how Indiana leverages its resources and builds new partnerships to implement innovative, cross-agency approaches to bolster its health care workforces. Indiana’s approach includes providing Medicaid reimbursement for community health worker (CHW) services, a pre-nursing certificate pathway for certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and a framework for comprehensive review of state licensing.
