Webinar: Value-Based Payment Through the Eyes of Primary Care and Behavioral Health

This webinar revisits the HCP-LAN value-based payment (VBP) framework using the lens: What is most important for primary care and behavioral health providers serving Medicaid beneficiaries to know about VBP and its implementation? The webinar addresses the current status of payment reform in the ambulatory care safety net, barriers and facilitators facing primary care and behavioral health, and successful strategies providers are pursuing. It then explores how NY state is working with its behavioral health providers to prepare for and participate in VBP.

Webinar presenters include Rachel Tobey, a national expert on payment reform among health centers and the Director of the Delta Center for a Thriving Safety Net, and Gary Weiskopf, Associate Commissioner of the Division of Managed Care at the New York State Office of Mental Health.
